In recent weeks, output of the individual vineyards is checked to decide on further cluster thinning to be carried out in late July and early August. The varieties affected are Nero d’Avola, Cabernet and Merlot for the reds, and Inzolia, Catarratto, Grecanico and Chardonnay for the whites.

Tipping at the beginning of June favored setting by the Zibibbo.
The wind constantly blowing on the island has not interfered with the development of the vines and the proper completion of setting.
The vineyards are in excellent physiological condition and excellent health. The leaves have developed regularly and are engaging in outstanding photosynthetic activity.
