As working support for its Extreme Quality project, Donnafugata issued its own Quality Manual and in December 2000 received certification of conformity with the UNI EN ISO 9001/2000 standard. In 2004, after defining its own “Environment Policy,” it was certified as meeting the requirements of UNI EN ISO 1400/1996, completing its EMAS process by informing the public of its environmental work. In 2004 it also received UNI 11020 certification for “traceability control,” the ability to trace and at all times guarantee the provenance of the raw materials used for each product.
Setting rules and continually updating them to meet company objectives mean putting the highest demands of the consumer at the center of corporate life.
