Life is marked by many enthusiasms
and each traces new and unexpected paths in our
destinies. It was in the summer of 1997 that I tasted,
on [the island of] Panarea, a red wine that gave
me a sense of joy, warmth and, above all, the desire
to explore the area where it originated. After many
trips through the world of wine, I could not manage
to believe that the key to it all was to be found
