my natural need for rediscovery. It is one of those
wines that, on every occasion, are not just fascinating,
convincing and satisfying. This wine also colors
the sensory narrative with innumerable brushstrokes
that paint a terroir in the mind. I have had the
good fortune to visit this magical part of Sicily
many times and I find in every sip of Vigna di Gabri
the gentle Mediterranean spaces that can be really
and truly experienced at Donnafugata. It is a sunny
land with briny breezes, odorous herbs and the human
warmth of the Rallo family.
A grape, a land, a family to which I always return
